This work of art was created in the days following the 2004 tsunami. Working at night while home alone, my pen seemed to work independently from my physical self as I attempted to work out the myriad of emotions running throughout my mind. Fear, pain, loss, destruction. After stashing the large drawing behind the couch, I was surprised to find it a few months later. Looking at this piece brought back the emotions that were poured into it, but I cannot actually recall putting the strokes on paper.

This gave me a chance (as someone with very limited computer and web experience) to become a part of this great community. Thank you to everyone who favorited this and watched me after it was featured. It has enabled me to meet and share artistic visions with fellow creators around the world.

Being a tradtional artist working primarily in 2D, I now know a lot more about digital art, fractals, Bryce, etc. through descriptions of other's artwork. Although I will most likely stay within the traditional art forms, I have developed a huge appreciation for the many varieties of expression on this site.
